F . A . Q

What times do you offer?

Rather than offering a specific time, I offer time slots. This is due to the nature of the job, it is very difficult to guarantee a specific time of arrival. I aim to keep to the below time slots where possible, offering collection between the times of:
- Morning (8am - 11am)

- Midday (11am - 2pm)

- Afternoon (2pm - 4pm)

Situations out of my control may mean the collection time could be slightly outside of these times, however this is rare and you will be informed if this is the case. (This is yet to have happened, but I do like to make people aware it is a possibility!)

What days do you work?

I work Monday - Friday. I currently do not work Weekends or Bank Holidays, however I do provide occasion cover at the Weekend or Bank Holidays for my regular clients.

Do you pick up & drop off?

Yes! This is included in the price of the walk & the travel time is additional to the walking time.

Will my dog get muddy?

Honest answer? Probably! English weather isn't always the best for keeping our furry friends clean! All dogs will get a wipe down with a towel but I am not able to offer bathing or washing after each walk. If you feel this may be an issue, I would suggest having a 'dog area' available in the house where I can return the dogs to post walk, so they can dry off.

What happens in extreme weather?

I am yet to have to cancel any walks due to extreme weather, but there is always the possibility this could happen.

Winter
The car is fully heated with the addition of warm cosy beds & blankets for the dogs to snuggle into whilst in transit.

Some dogs may benefit from a coat which I am happy to put on for them.

Walks have the potential to be cancelled or rescheduled in the presence of heavy snow, very heavy rain or high winds. This is to ensure the safety of myself & the dogs.

Summer
The car is fully air conditioned with the addition of cool mats for the dogs to sit on & tinted windows to keep direct sunlight out.

Walks are tailored to heavily shaded areas and where possible to include freshly moving water for the dogs to paddle in to remain cool.

I carry drinking water with me for the dogs and am happy for the dogs to wear 'cool jackets' or 'cooling bandanas' which I can top up throughout the walk if needed.

Walk times can be rearranged to avoid hotter parts of the day. Walks are kept slow and often travelling reduced distances.

Walks have the potential to be cancelled or rescheduled in the presence of extreme heat. This is to ensure the safety of myself & the dogs. Alternatively drop-in visits can be arranged instead
